This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on The Grid’s website and our apps for iPhone and any other devices and platforms.

Information we collect

All information is stored on device only.

We store the photos you import into the app so that they cannot be deleted out from under you if they are removed from the device’s photo library.

If you log in to Instagram, your basic Instagram user information is stored on device along with data for all of your Instagram posts. If you unlink your Instagram account, all of your Instagram is deleted.

We use third party services for reporting errors and crashes, anonymous analytics, and presenting ads. This is detailed below.

Technical basics

If you log in to Instagram, we must store your access token to keep you logged in.

This website is built on Jekyll and does not use analytics or store cookies. No records of your IP address or similar information exists.

We use Google Mobile Ads SDK to show ads in the app. More information about Mobile Ads SDK is here. Google’s privacy policy is here.

Fabric & Crashlytics

We use Fabric to collect anonymous statistics to improve the app based on how the app is used. More information about Fabric is here. Fabric’s privacy policy is here (Fabric is owned by Google).

Fabric includes Crashlytics, a tool for tracking crashes. We use Crashlytics to collect crash reports in order to fix bugs.

Information usage

We use the information we collect to operate and improve our website, apps, and customer support.

We may disclose your information in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.

In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.

Deleting information

You may delete your information from The Grid app.
